Animal Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive therapy that helps promote relaxation, reduce stress, and support the body’s natural healing processes. Reiki can benefit animals at all stages of life. For healthy animals, it helps maintain balance and wellbeing. For animals that are unwell, it can work alongside veterinary care and other complementary therapies to support recovery, ease discomfort, and reduce anxiety. It can also provide comfort and peace for animals nearing the end of life, helping both pets and their owners during this difficult time. Treatments are always led by the animal. Sessions usually begin a short distance away, allowing the animal to approach and receive the healing energy in a way that feels comfortable and safe for them. Animal Reiki is a complementary therapy and does not replace veterinary care. Under UK legislation, animals requiring medical treatment must always be seen by a qualified veterinary surgeon. Reiki can be used alongside veterinary treatment to help support the animal’s comfort and overall wellbeing. 🐾
